SCHOOL GUIDELINES

Absences/Sick Days: Please notify me if your child will be absent. If your child is sick (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, etc) please keep them home. We encourage sharing fun stuff, not sickness. If a teacher feels at any time during class that a sickness interferes with classroom activities, parents will be notified to pick their child up early.

Guns and Violent Toys: Please do not send your preschooler to school with any form of gun or violent toys. We do not want this kind of influence in our classroom.

Toys and Show-n-Share Items: Please put your child's name on any item brought in to show the class or to play with. We encourage kids to share their belongings, but it helps us out to know whose toy it is.

Extra Sets of Clothes: We ask that each child brings a change of clothes to leave at school for the school year for accidents. Whether it be arts and crafts or bladder, we do need a change of clothes left at school. We also ask that you put your child's name on each article of clothing left in the classroom.

Winter Clothes: Please send your child with weather appropriate clothes. We will go outside if all of the children have snow clothes etc. Please label snow clothes.

Slippers: When the snow falls and kids are wearing snow boots, we ask that each child brings a pair of slippers to school to wear in the classroom. These may be left at school or taken home. We try to keep our floors dry and snow free so kids can play on the carpet and not get wet.
